Yes. Bring a full-size sample if possible, along with measurements, clear photos, manufacturer information, packaging, or leftover pieces. We cannot guarantee an exact match—especially when a product has been discontinued or varies by production lot—but we can research the tile and help identify a close match or a complementary design solution.

No. Select Surfaces does not perform tile installation. We sell tile and installation materials and provide design, layout, and technical product guidance. Installation should be completed by a qualified tile professional.

Yes. The Select Surfaces contractor's desk supports tile professionals, builders, and project teams with installation-related materials and knowledgeable product guidance, including waterproofing, membranes, mortars, grouts, profiles, radiant-heating systems, care products, accessories, and tools.

The answer depends on the room, traffic, moisture, maintenance expectations, and design goals. Porcelain is a popular option because many products offer high durability and low water absorption. Ceramic and natural stone may also be appropriate in certain applications. Our team can help compare the specifications and care requirements for your project.

Yes. Many porcelain, ceramic, and natural stone tiles work well with radiant floor-heating systems. Select Surfaces offers Warmup® and Schluter® DITRA-HEAT products and can help your installer or project team coordinate compatible components.

Suitability depends on the tile's intended use, finish, size, slip characteristics, and manufacturer recommendations, as well as the design of the complete shower assembly. The waterproofing and preparation behind the tile are critical. Our team can help select appropriate tile and system products; a qualified installer should determine and execute the installation method.

Some porcelain and natural stone products can be used outdoors when they are rated for the application and installed in a system designed for local freeze-thaw and moisture conditions. Product selection, drainage, substrate, movement, setting materials, and workmanship all matter. Confirm the complete assembly with the manufacturer and qualified project professionals.

The appropriate overage depends on the tile, layout, room geometry, pattern, shade variation, expected cuts, breakage risk, and future attic-stock needs.
